Dianova Italy: Satisfaction Survey

The results of the survey show that over 83% of reference services were satisfied with their relationship with Dianova’s therapeutic communities

Life 2016 - Palombara

The association Dianova Italy conducted a satisfaction survey using a questionnaire sent to 19 reference agencies (Public Addiction Services – SER.D and NOA and Integrated Multidisciplinary Services – SMI) which had referred three or more clients to Dianova’s 5 therapeutic communities in the country.

The results of the survey show that over 83% of reference services were satisfied with their relationship with Dianova’s therapeutic communities, about 15% mentioned that they were “quite satisfied” and less than 2% were dissatisfied or provided no responses. The highest level of satisfaction reported was for the quality of the collaboration between reference services and Dianova multidisciplinary team (100% of positive responses), while the lowest was for the waiting period before admission.

Based on the comments provided by the reference services, Dianova considered it important to improve monitoring and evaluation phases with reference organizations, which are currently made difficult because of the large distances.

For Dianova Italy, this survey is an important step to ensure an ongoing improvement process of its practices and, more generally, to contribute to a better synergy between public reference services and the third sector.
