A New Format for the 10th Anniversary of Infonova

La revue Infonova (Dianova Espagne)

Dianova Spain has issued the latest edition of ‘Infonova‘, a publication which was made possible through government support and collaboration, within the context on the National Plan on Drugs (Plan Nacional sobre Drogas), implemented by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality. The Infonova journal is meant to provide addiction professionals, researchers and the general public with relevant information on the situation and advances in this field.

Since its very first issue ten years ago, the Infonova journal has been dedicated to reflection and knowledge-sharing about the innumerable facets of the addiction phenomenon. For ten years, we have endeavored to give the general public a better understanding of the addiction issues through a plain language, while ensuring that the various concepts be addressed in the appropriate fashion.

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, Infonova presents a different format; it now becomes a professional, academic journal dedicated to addressing the addiction phenomenon only. It will publish documents, analysis and research studies conducted by professionals from various multidisciplinary fields, with a variety of working methodologies.

Santos CaveroIn this new stage, Dianova wants to be a communication channel for knowledge, best practices and innovation associated to this field. We also hope that we will be able to engage a process of dialogue and reflection on the advances and researches carried out in this field, at the national and global level. The Infonova journal is intended to become an effective tool to deliver information to addiction professionals, educators, parents, researchers, etc.

In this issue, readers will be able to reap the fruits of this evolution with a number of carefully selected papers by researchers, scholars, or renowned third sector representatives.  Each one of our semi-annual issues will present an in-depth review of various themes related to the organizations and people who work in the addiction field.

In conclusion, I would like to stress that we propose a bidirectional communication model: people interested in participating in our journal may send their comments, doubts or remarks by email or regular mail; they may also join our online forum.
